1. Highlight: Sleek and seamless embedded Teamup
Do you need to communicate event schedules or resource availability with your community, group, or industry partners? Embedding a read-only Teamup into your website is a simple and secure way to make this information easily accessible to your target audience, with real-time updates.
For an embedded calendar, link parameters are a superpower. And we’ve recently released new parameters to allow greater control over the UI visibility and make embedded Teamups sleek and minimal like never before, seamlessly blended with the webpage. Here’s an example:
Use our Embed Wizard to easily create iFrame code with the parameters and options you want: no coding necessary! If you prefer, you can learn more about working with parameters yourself.

2. Inspiration: More productive meetings
Meetings take up a large part of modern work-life. We need the communication and opportunity for discussion, but all too often meetings are disconnected from results. It takes purposeful preparation and follow-up to keep each meeting focused, use the time well, exchange key information, and move toward the needed outcomes. Event comments are already built into your Teamup calendar, and they can be a great help to make meetings more productive from initial inputs to better results.
3. Featured template: Fleet scheduling
For many organizations, fleet management is part of core operations. But without clear, updated, visible vehicle availability, this key part of operations can create bottlenecks in many other areas. Check out this month’s featured template for fleet scheduling and see how Teamup can bring organization to managing fleet vehicle availability.
4. July’s power tips from the Teamup Ticker
Switch between flexible grid and static grid
In Month or Multi-week view, flexible grid expands the row to show all events. Static grid keeps row sizes fixed and provides a scroll bar to view hidden events.
Allow booking for multiple clients while keeping details confidential
Set up a self-booking calendar so clients can see your availability and book appointments, while keeping each person’s information and appointment details confidential.
Choose which event fields are visible in Table view
In Table view, each event field is displayed in its own column. You can show or hide any of the columns which allows you to customize which event fields are shown on the screen.
Use comments to let invitees decline an event
You can use event signups to let group members, clients, or other users invited to an event sign up. If you also want to give invitees the option to decline an invitation, use event comments.
Protect confidential information on the calendar
If your calendar contains confidential or internal information, be proactive to keep the data secure: use appropriate permissions, disable iCalendar feeds, disable event sharing, and regularly review access. See the ticker for more tips and details.
5. Product updates: iCal feeds, templates, and parameters
Expanded calendar template gallery
We’ve added several new templates to get you started with Teamup for different scenarios. These templates provide a calendar structure and basic configuration for different scenarios. All you have to do is adjust the setup for your own needs and start using your new calendar.
New link parameters to create a sleek look for embedded Teamups
As mentioned above, two new link parameters make it possible to control even more display options when embedding a Teamup Calendar: You can now hide the date controls and choose whether to show or hide the calendar view header (applicable for some calendar views). It’s easy to control these options via our Embed Wizard, or you can append the parameters to a secure link yourself.
Improved iCal feed between Teamup calendars
We released an update that improves iCalendar feeds from one Teamup calendar to another.
If both the source calendar and the destination calendar have the same custom fields, those custom field values are transferred from the source to the destination calendar.
6. Insight: Choose the best default calendar view
You can select any one of Teamup’s 11 unique calendar views as the default view. Choosing the best calendar view may be a small change to make, but it can help recover lost efficiency and make the calendar more user-friendly. In fact, the right default view can boost productivity by making the needed information easy to spot so work is done faster. Take a look at these use cases to see how the best default calendar view can enhance efficiency for teams.
