Story: A unified calendar for customized arts programs

For almost 40 years, Arts for the Aging (AFTA) has served older adults and their caregivers by providing arts-based wellness programs. To provide personalized programs, AFTA works with multiple care providers, considers varying participant needs, and aligns schedules with teaching artists and community partners.

Coordinating across multiple organizations is not simple. The people involved use a wide variety of personal calendars, including Outlook, Google Calendar, Apple Calendar, Asana, paper calendars, and more. There’s also the challenge of working across platforms (Windows and Apple) and scale (from mobile devices to sophisticated multi-device computer systems).

With Teamup, they’ve got one shared calendar compatible with all. It’s now easy to manage flexible scheduling, collaborate efficiently, and keep everyone updated.

To ensure that users provide all the needed information for a complete booking, make the pertinent event fields required. If a field is required, users cannot save the event without filling in the field.

You can add a secondary email to your Teamup user account. If you’ve set up your account with your personal email, for example, you can add your work email, or vice versa. This brings everything together in one dashboard.
