Teamup in action: Streamline complex fieldwork
How W. W. Williams keeps things running with Teamup
Every day, W. W. Williams coordinates hundreds of technicians who provide essential service work all over the country, under pressure to get things done quickly. They’re often working in less-than-ideal environments, handling complex jobs to keep their customers operating. To simplify operations, the IT team at W. W. Williams built a custom integration using Teamup’s API to automate information flow for techs on the field. Updates and details flow seamlessly from the dispatchers’ entry point (their ERP system) to techs on the field, who access all the info they need through the Teamup app.
We would spend a year trying to develop something internally that isn’t as good as what Teamup is now. The mobile app is exactly what we needed, so it was a foundation that we didn’t have to build. The value-add of integration on top of that lets us spend our time doing the things that are specific to our business process.

Real-world solution: Manage changing availability
Balancing structure and adaptability at Our Birthing Center
In many organizations, success requires balancing structure and adaptability. This is especially true with Our Birthing Center, an organization which operates two free-standing birthing centers. On-staff nurses work with care providers, usually midwives, to provide family-centered care for low risk pregnant women. Here’s how they use Teamup to manage availability easily, stay coordinated, and adjust quickly to changes.
We were searching for a solution how to manage our Nurses On Call schedule, Room bookings, etc. that can be shared by multiple users and came across Teamup. It has been working wonderfully for us.

Push notifications for changes
Push notifications are a type of change notification. They are sent to your mobile device or browser when changes occur on your calendar. For example, a push notification could be triggered when an event is added, the time or date of an event is changed, a comment is made on an event, someone signs up for an event, or an event is removed. Any calendar user can receive change notifications. Only account users can manage their own notifications.

Share a group calendar on social
Many groups use Facebook for organizing and communication. They often use a separate calendar, like Teamup, for planning and scheduling. Here are some tips for sharing your group calendar on Facebook, whether with members or the public.
Keep events from being changed
You may want users to be able to add or modify events up to a certain point; then, you may need to prevent further changes. You can use this method to “lock” events so they can’t be modified except by authorized people.
Find the calendar you need quickly
If you use Teamup with many sub-calendars, the built-in smart filter makes it easy to find particular calendar quickly. Check it out.
Print a filtered task list
Toggle the calendars in view to get a printable list of the tasks, jobs, or events for a certain person or category. Here’s how.
Set a custom start date
Teamup’s default start date, or date which the calendar automatically shows when opened, can be changed by the calendar admin. This can be helpful in some scenarios, such as conference planning: You can set the calendar to open on the conference date. Get more details or watch a quick demo:
