Last updated Sep 20, 2022

Start small, grow along. A user story of how a group of therapists uses Teamup to handle multiple rooms with different availability.

Group Profile

Transformations Counseling is based in Smithtown, New York. The group of therapists provides counseling services that help people transform and grow through better relationships and overcoming other challenges in family life. Learn more about the group.

The Challenge

Ken Burns, a director at Transformations Counseling, describes the challenges in the group’s daily operations: “ We need a calendar that could handle multiple rooms with different availability, as well as track therapist availability. Then we need to be able to assign therapist to a room. Only one therapist can use one room at a time. We used Google Calendar, the free version, but it was very difficult to sync all those calendars, especailly as we grew.”

Why Teamup?

Ken says that “ Team-up not only meets our needs when we were smaller but has had the capability and functionality to grow with us. What we like best is even with all the calendars we have, it’s still easy to see the schedule and make appointments.”

The Benefits

The biggest benefit of using Teamup in the group’s daily operation is that “ It handles our calendar needs, which have proven to be complicated, very well.”

Thank you Ken for sharing and all your feedback!
