How to Copy Events Using the Context Menu or Drag & Drop

There are several ways to copy an event. They are available through ctrl-drag (on PC) or cmd-drag (on Mac) as well as the right-click context menu.

Copy an event to the same sub-calendar

Option 1: Copy from the context menu

Right-click the event and select Copy to, then click the date you want the new event to be on.

Option 2: Drag and drop

On any of the calendars with a grid view, use CTRL + drag (PC) or OPTION (Alt) + drag (Mac) to move the event and drop it on the date you want the new event to be on.

Copy an event to any sub-calendar

Option 1: Duplicate from the context menu

  1. Right-click an event, then select Duplicate. The event editor will pop up with the original event info pre-populated, but without a sub-calendar selected.
  2. Select one or more sub-calendars and edit any details as needed.
  3. Save the new event. It’s also possible to duplicate a read-only event to a different sub-calendar, as long as you have add or modify permission to that sub-calendar.

Option 2: Drag and drop

Scheduler view

In scheduler view, use ctrl-drag (PC) or cmd-drag (Mac) to move the event and drop it to the column of the sub-calendar you want the new event to be on. The copied event will be on the same date as the original.

To adjust the time of the copied event, hold and drag the middle handle at the bottom of the event. This allows you to expand the time range without opening the editor to change the ending time.

Ctrl-drag an event and drop it to the column of another sub-calendar in the Scheduler view. Then drag the bottom to change the ending time.
Timeline view

In timeline view, use ctrl-drag (PC) or cmd-drag (Mac) to move the event and drop it in the sub-calendar row and the date column where you want the copied event.

In the Timeline view, ctrl-drag or cmd-drag the event and drop to the row of the target sub-calendar and the target dates to copy the event
